Vice President of Field Commercial

We are conducting a search for a VP of Field Commercial on behalf of a national leader in mobility solutions and healthcare services. This is a high-impact executive role sitting at the intersection of sales strategy and field execution, responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding the referral base across an assigned territory.

Reporting to the Executive Vice President, this leader will oversee a cross-functional commercial team (Sales, Operations, Service) and serve as the senior commercial presence in the field. The right candidate brings a proven track record in healthcare sales leadership, national account management, and building high-performing teams inside multi-location, growth-oriented organizations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a regional commercial team while driving accountability to monthly and annual revenue objectives.
  • Build and execute strategic growth plans to expand referral networks, strengthen market penetration, and drive territory performance.
  • Analyze business performance metrics, identify trends, and implement corrective actions to achieve revenue targets.
  • Lead organizational development initiatives, including hiring, team structure optimization, and talent development.

National Account Management

  • Manage and strengthen key national account relationships through proactive communication, advocacy, and executive-level engagement.
  • Oversee QBR/QPR and scorecard processes to ensure strong customer alignment and performance accountability.
  • Support strategic proposals, presentations, contract discussions, and leadership-level negotiations.
  • Develop and implement sales training programs, onboarding initiatives, and educational resources to elevate team performance.
  • Partner closely with Operations, Service, and other cross-functional leaders to align priorities and remove execution barriers.
  • Drive process improvements and change management initiatives that enhance commercial effectiveness and support long-term growth objectives.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of healthcare industry trends, reimbursement developments, and competitive market dynamics.

Qualifications

Required Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
  • 7+ years of commercial leadership or sales management experience.
  • 5+ years of healthcare industry experience with oversight of multi-site operations, team leadership, and organizational management.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience within CRT, DME, therapy services, clinical services, or related healthcare environments.
  • Proven success building referral relationships and business development pipelines from the ground up.
  • Experience managing national accounts with formal QPR/QBR and scorecard methodologies.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce or comparable CRM platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and execute sales strategies aligned with revenue and EBITDA objectives.
  • Track record of leading change initiatives within high-growth, matrixed organizations.
  • Strong executive presence with exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Comfortable operating within a private equity-backed, performance-oriented culture focused on accountability and results.

Additional Information

  • Field-based position with approximately 40% travel requirements.
