Senior Manager of Channel Strategy – Partner Marketing Experiences

We’re looking for a strategic, data‑driven Senior Manager of Channel Strategy to join our Partner Marketing Experiences team. In this role you’ll own how we reach and engage our partner audience—ensuring our communications respect the partner’s time, solve their unique challenges, and build a lasting sense of community.

What You’ll Do

  • Define and execute channel distribution strategies for key partner marketing messages across email, Partner Community, Slack, social, Salesforce.com, and other emerging channels.
  • Partner closely with the PMM team to translate campaign strategy, messaging, and positioning into effective channel execution.
  • Contribute to messaging frameworks and positioning when needed, bringing a PMM sensibility to how content is packaged and delivered across channels.
  • Orchestrate stakeholder alignment, navigating complex needs and competing priorities to ensure a unified, non‑fragmented voice to our partners.
  • Translate AI‑synthesized channel performance data into optimization strategies, adopting a "fail-fast" mentality.
  • Own and manage the martech tools that power our partner communications (including Marketing Cloud Account Engagement), ensuring they’re configured, integrated, and operating effectively.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, AI‑powered tools, and platform innovations to bring fresh thinking to our channel approach.
  • Drive the team’s AI engine by updating AI notebooks and documentation, sharing hero prompts, and replacing manual execution with automated approaches.
  • Serve as the Ethical Guardian of AI‑driven content, ensuring every automated interaction maintains brand integrity, cultural nuance, and the "Salesforce touch" that an algorithm might overlook.

What We’re Looking For

  • 6‑8+ years of marketing experience, with a strong focus on channel strategy and distribution.
  • Proven expertise in email marketing (Marketing Cloud Account Engagement or equivalent) — including segmentation, automation, A/B testing, and performance analysis.
  • Demonstrated proficiency using AI tools to improve marketing efficiency, personalization, or content at scale.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Comfort operating in a fast‑moving, ambiguous environment — you make real‑time calls, pivot quickly, and keep campaigns on track under pressure.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills — you can coordinate across teams while influencing without authority.
  • Ability to "Learn Out Loud" by experimenting with new tools and documenting wins for the team.
  • A track record of experimenting with "un‑automatable" marketing tactics — like surprise‑and‑delight moments or high‑touch community building — that defy standard digital patterns.

Why Join Us

You’ll be part of a high‑impact team shaping how Salesforce engages its partner ecosystem at scale—think 60K+ partner sends and some of the most high‑profile moments on the Salesforce calendar, including Partner Summit, TDX, and Dreamforce. This role lets you combine strategy and execution, giving you the space to innovate and directly shape the partner experience.
