We’re partnering with our client, a digital marketing agency in NYC and Atlanta, to find a talented Account Director. This permanent role offers an exciting opportunity to lead projects and build strong client relationships. The position requires a strategic and driven professional with agency experience.

This role is HYBRID in either New York City or Atlanta.

Account Director Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage large-scale projects from initial planning through final delivery, ensuring quality and adherence to timelines.
  • Develop and maintain effective communication with clients, acting as a trusted advisor and fostering long‑term relationships.
  • Collaborate with creative, strategy, finance, and production teams to align project goals and facilitate smooth execution.
  • Lead cross‑functional teams to generate innovative solutions and drive organic growth opportunities.
  • Manage project budgets, develop estimates, and oversee invoicing to ensure timely billing and financial health.

Account Director Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7+ years of account management experience in a creative or digital agency setting.
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing and executing end‑to‑end email marketing strategies aligned to the customer journey
  • Strong understanding of customer journey mapping and lifecycle marketing, with email as a core engagement channel
  • Proven experience designing email strategies that support acquisition, nurturing, retention, and re‑engagement
  • Proven track record working on digital marketing or eCommerce clients with an understanding of 360 advertising strategies.
  • Strong experience managing multiple projects with excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to develop project scopes, pricing, and incremental business opportunities.
  • Management experience with excellent communication and strategic thinking skills.
