The Associate Director, Global Marketing will shape the strategic direction, portfolio management, and financial performance of our Arterial Blood Gas Syringe portfolio within our Specimen Management business. As a key member of the Global Marketing team, the Associate Director, Global Marketing will collaborate closely with cross‑functional partners and regional marketing teams, serving as a portfolio expert and central resource to support the commercial success of this critical product line.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement marketing and product strategies to drive innovation and growth, including analyzing market and customer insights, identifying new product opportunities, optimizing the portfolio, launching new products, managing product lifecycles, and forecasting pricing strategies.
- Define and implement product strategy, multi‑generational product roadmaps, development priorities, and release planning.
- Develop and implement worldwide marketing plans, encompassing clinical studies, advertising, promotions, sales tools, public relations, public policy, and seminars.
- Develop a global sales and marketing plan that defines market development, marketing activities, promotions strategies, and related objectives.
- Develop competitive strategies through competitive intelligence and market analysis.
- Support new product development as the marketing core team member, accountable for completing respective marketing deliverables.
- Effectively partner and collaborate with regional marketing, sales, R&D, Clinical Scientific Affairs, Business Development, and other functions to ensure comprehensive marketing and product strategy execution.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes, ensuring they are communicated and implemented within the team.
- Support additional marketing efforts as required by the platform team.
- Travel required (25%).
Education
- Bachelor's degree required with a focus in business, science, marketing, or healthcare preferred.
- MBA with a concentration in marketing, strategy, or finance is preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 5-8 years of product marketing or upstream marketing experience required. Experience in new product development and product launch preferred.
- Healthcare industry experience (Medical Device, Diagnostic or Life Science Industry) is highly preferred.

Workplace
BD prioritizes on‑site collaboration. Most roles require a minimum of 4 days of in‑office presence per week. Remote or field‑based positions will have different workplace arrangements indicated in the job posting.
