Role Description
This is a full-time, hybrid position for a Digital Designer based in NYC with flexibility for occasional remote work. The Digital Designer will be responsible for creating engaging digital designs, graphic elements, and web layouts that align with Lingua Franca's branding and aesthetic. Day-to-day tasks include producing visual assets for marketing campaigns, designing digital advertisements, enhancing user experience through web design, and executing branding strategies and visual identity updates.
Role Overview
The Digital Designer will play a crucial role in bringing the Lingua Franca brand imagery to life, creating and executing collateral from concept to completion. This role will report to the VP of Marketing and eCommerce and will work closely with the Marketing team to maintain a streamlined process.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all graphic design needs and create marketing materials across all owned, earned, and paid channels, B2C and B2B, digital and traditional marketing, for the Lingua Franca brand
Produce original, creative designs while maintaining brand vision
Perform research, create layouts, mock-ups, and other materials to illustrate specific concepts
Design engaging, innovative email newsletters that clearly and uniquely represent the concepts being communicated
Enhance, retouch, format and manipulate digital assets
Present well-developed, innovative creative solutions to meet brand objectives, which are competitive in the industry and differentiate the brand
Work closely with the marketing team to transform concepts into visual executions that articulate the brand and deliver on business needs
Maintain schedule of deliverables across channels to ensure timely reviews and releases
Maintain organization of all files and imagery
Schedule, segment, and manage all email newsletters in email service provider platform
Communicate clearly to manage workload and timelines
Manage internal and external imagery retouching needs, organization, and communication
Maintain an elevated brand aesthetic across all touch points
Consistently seek to improve the workflow process, presenting solutions to increase efficiency and streamline communication

Qualifications
Passionate about the Lingua Franca brand
Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field
At least 2 years of experience in-house with a fashion brand
Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office
Expert proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Figma
Experience with After Effects or other video software
Working knowledge of Klaviyo and Shopify
Ability to facilitate constructive communication through clear articulation
Ability to receive constructive feedback and implement requested changes
Excellent communication skills, speaking to both creative vision and tactical details
A customer-first outlook, with an interest in the fashion industry, design, and technological innovation
Ability to self-manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed in a timely manner
Adept at both independent and collaborative work
Physical Requirements
Hybrid role, 3 days (and as needed) in NYC office
