We are looking for a dynamic Sales Director to join our rapidly expanding trucking brokerage firm. The ideal candidate is a natural leader with proven success in sales, team development, and strategic business growth within the logistics and freight industry.
You'll be responsible for securing new shipper clients, nurturing long-term relationships, and implementing strategic initiatives that drive measurable growth. This is a high-impact position with significant opportunity for advancement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team across both locations
- Identify and secure new shipper clients through cold calling, networking, and prospecting
- Build and maintain strong client relationships for long-term retention
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed revenue targets
- Collaborate with operations and carrier teams to ensure exceptional service delivery
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry pricing strategies
- Provide regular performance updates and sales pipeline reports to senior leadership
Requirements
- Proven success in sales leadership and team development
- Strong knowledge of FTL, LTL, and intermodal freight services
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
- Highly goal-oriented, consistent, and self-driven professional
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-focused environment
- Must be based in or near Monsey with the ability to travel weekly to Williamsburg
Compensation
- $120,000 annual base salary + performance-based incentives
