THE STUDIO:

Founded by artist Brook Perdigon in 2015 and located in Los Angeles’s Atwater Village neighborhood, Brook Perdigon Textiles is a boutique interior textile and wallpaper studio. Working with talented artisans in our Los Angeles manufacturing community and printers throughout the United States, we produce timeless designs through traditional and modern print processes. Exceptional craftsmanship and innovative surface designs are the core of our business.

Our studio operates at a high level of professionalism. We require clear communication and expectations within our small team. THE ROLE:

Brook Perdigon Textiles is seeking a part time Studio Director with prior administrative and sales experience, preferably with knowledge of the interior design market. This role will support the CEO + Founder in our Los Angeles office.

This role contributes to the studio culture with a positive attitude and creative spirit. The ideal candidate is genuine, self-motivated, and forward-thinking. Extreme attention to detail and an ability to provide a high level of customer service is a must. This role works seamlessly with our internal staff as well as our manufacturers, customers, contractors, and suppliers.

We are interested in someone who wants to build a relationship with us and our customers for the long-term.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Primary Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:

  • Work closely with the company’s national and international showrooms to provide stock updates, lead times, sample orders, reserves, and ensure order fulfillment
  • Assist the sales associate in fulfilling sample requests, and managing follow-up communication.
  • Assist the sales associate with planning meetings and small in-studio events
  • Assist the sales associate in new customer outreach
  • Methodically document customer activity in our CRM
  • Manage customer mailing list

Production Management:

  • Manage and place PO's for fabric and wallpaper production
  • Place PO’s for wholesale linen orders and manage linen inventory
  • Process all Trade Direct and online orders
  • Create shipping paperwork
  • Track order payments, shipments, and deliveries
  • Manage sample and label inventory
  • Manage office maintenance
  • Manage office and mailing supply inventory
  • Assist staff as needed with meeting planning and travel coordination
