Responsibilities
Drive deal origination with banking clients by structuring solutions, negotiating fees, and executing financing across Healthcare, Industrials, Consumer, and Retail sectors. Advise clients on integrated financial solutions for mergers & acquisitions, divestitures, restructurings, loans, equity and debt capital raises, including bonds and alternative capital markets. Construct and recommend transaction strategy for marketing, timing, and pricing of debt issuance and loan origination, repurchasing, or restructuring debt. Serve as key lead and presenter in business and company events to identify new opportunities, pitch products for new and existing clients, secure new business and maintain critical client relationships. Lead responses to clients’ requests, coordinate firm teams for collective advice, and manage deal execution with internal and external teams. Execute and underwrite financial transactions, evaluating appropriate covenants and pricing for corporate loans underwritten by the firm. Actively engage in client meetings and provide timely market insights after monitoring global rate and credit market dynamics and their effects on clients’ liability portfolios and issuance decisions. Coordinate with syndicate, sales, and trading to price and sell bonds. Maintain direct dialogue and relationships with priority clients and key financing decision makers, client coverage officers, and debt and equity partners.

Qualifications
Minimum education and experience: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Management, Business Administration, Finance, Mathematics, Economics, or a related quantitative field, plus at least ten (10) years of experience in origination, client management, corporate banking, or related roles.

10+ years experience with bonds, loans, syndicated loans, private placements, and other debt instruments; regulatory knowledge (SEC, FINRA, Basel III) and compliance requirements; global debt markets trends, macroeconomic factors, and interest rate movements.

Experience structuring debt transactions, sourcing new business, maintaining client relationships, and providing strategic advice on capital structure, funding options, and market timing to Treasury and C‑suite levels.

Experience presenting holistic capital markets financing ideas to clients and internal stakeholders.

Ability to manage and mentor junior bankers and deal teams; oversee multiple in‑market transactions and ensure timely execution.

Skills in negotiating deal structuring and documentation terms; assessing creditworthiness; conducting due diligence; resolving transaction issues and client challenges.

Use of Bloomberg, Reuters, Excel, and FactSet for financial modeling, cash flow analysis, credit metrics, and data analytics for market insights.

Sector knowledge of Healthcare, Industrials, and Retail.

Licenses: FINRA Series 63; FINRA Series 79 or Series 79TO.

Location & Travel
270 Park Avenue, New York, NY 10017. Full‑time position with up to 60% travel, domestic and international to Canada, Europe, and the United Kingdom.

Compensation
Base salary: $300,000 – $350,000 per year. Full‑time.
