Sales Coordinator - River Roast
River Roast is seeking an organized and guest-focused Sales Coordinator & Administrative Support professional to support sales, event coordination, and daily administrative operations. This role plays a key part in delivering exceptional service for private dining, group events, and restaurant functions.
Key Responsibilities
Respond to incoming calls and inquiries with a professional, client-focused approach.
Support event sales efforts by assisting with proposals, contracts, and Banquet Event Orders (BEOs).
Coordinate event details with operations and culinary teams to ensure seamless execution.
Maintain accurate records of client interactions, bookings, and sales activity.
Assist in driving revenue through effective follow-up and upselling opportunities.
Administrative & Financial Support
Perform clerical duties to support sales and restaurant operations.
Process and reconcile daily sales, deposits, and cash reports.
Enter and track weekly sales and event data.
Review and process vendor invoices, ensuring pricing accuracy and resolving discrepancies.
Perform monthly vendor statement reconciliations and assist with financial reports.
Maintain organized and confidential personnel and business files.
Assist with preparation of internal reports and employment-related documentation.
Operational Support
Assist management with staffing coordination, including last-minute coverage needs.
Maintain strong working relationships with team members and leadership.
Ensure accurate communication of event details across departments.
Support a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Attend trainings and meetings as required.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Experience in hospitality, catering, restaurant sales, or administrative support preferred.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; POS or event systems experience a plus.
High attention to detail, especially with financial data.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
