About the Role iHeartMedia, a leading audio company, is seeking an experienced Media Strategist to join our fast-paced and innovative team in NewYork. The MediaStrategist will partner with the National Sales team to develop media strategies that meet advertisers’ objectives and drive revenue for our flagship National advertisers.
Responsibilities Partner with sellers on a select list of accounts to strategize, plan, and build media plans based on clients’ business objectives, KPIs and success metrics.
Provide direction to iHeartMedia’s broadcast platform divisions (Premiere Networks, Total Traffic & Weather Network, Smart Audio/Custom Network) to develop their specific media schedules.
Act as strategic support for key accounts, including creating presentations, gathering research, preparing for meetings, and maintaining client communication.
Create detailed media plans to share with Sales and other internal teams.
Collaborate day‑to‑day with Sales, Marketing, Planning, Research, and Revenue Management on strategy and plan recommendations.
Work with pre‑sale and post‑sale coordinators to set up campaigns and manage execution.
Prepare orders, resolve billing issues, and support the VP in reporting sales pipelines, forecasts, and competitive analysis.
Work professionally and collaboratively with internal partners to drive revenue.
Qualifications Knowledge of media math, media strategy, and media research techniques.
Demonstrated ability to stay current on media landscape developments.
Understanding of market dynamics and demographics.
Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and detail‑oriented skills.
Ability to thrive independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Salesforce.
1+ year of client relationship or sales planning experience.
Media/agency industry experience required.

Compensation Salary: $66,300–$67,000 (based on experience, qualifications, and market data).
