Responsibilities
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new opportunities within the Industrials, Transportation & Logistics sectors, including Tier One automotive. Build and maintain relationships with corporate and specialty clients, providing tailored banking solutions and collaborating with product specialists to achieve growth targets.
- Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary contact for corporate & specialty clients, maintaining long‑term relationships, ensuring exceptional service, and addressing concerns to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with Product Partners: Work with Capital Markets, Risk Management, Asset Based Lending, Treasury Management, and other partners to maximize returns.
- Financial Management: Monitor revenue, profitability, and cost management for the division; develop strategies to maximize profitability and reduce risk.
- Risk Management: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. Implement risk controls to safeguard the bank’s assets.
- Product Development: Partner with the product development team to create banking products and services that meet the needs of corporate, specialty, and government clients.
- Market Intelligence: Stay informed about market conditions and industry trends, using insights to identify growth opportunities and assess risks. Provide regular updates to senior management and peers.
- Collaboration Across Departments: Coordinate with credit, operations, compliance, and marketing to deliver seamless banking services and optimize operational efficiency.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- 7+ years of business development experience in banking with a focus on building meaningful client relationships.
- 5+ years of industrial‑specific experience in a client‑focused sales role, particularly in General Industrials, Transportation & Logistics, or Tier One Automotive.
- Series 79 and 63 (or equivalent) required or obtainable within 120 days of start date.
- Preferred: MBA; deep industry expertise with a track record of managing relationships with companies exceeding $500MM; 7+ years of industrial‑specific sales experience.
Benefits and Compensation
Compensation range: $125,000.00 – $255,000.00 (annual base salary). Eligible for an incentive compensation plan and a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, wellness program, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plan, paid leave, holidays, and PTO.
