Remote EDS Display Designer

To support critical operations in a regulated environment, the contract Remote EDS Display Designer will configure and modify Emerson Ovation HMI graphics, ensuring high-performance displays for control rooms while integrating data streams from various industrial communication protocols.
Key responsibilities

Build, modify, and configure Emerson Ovation HMI graphics and operational displays
Map and link graphical elements to DCS/SCADA points and live process data tags
Conduct Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) for display accuracy and troubleshooting during plant startup

Required qualifications

12-15 years of experience in HMI/SCADA design and configuration
Expertise in Emerson Ovation architecture and familiarity with other systems (e.g., ABB, PLCs)
Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols like Modbus and Ethernet/IP
Knowledge of turbine and process control systems in power generation
Experience working in regulated environments, such as nuclear facilities or public utilities
