Little Light House is a faith-based nonprofit organization providing free special education and therapy services to children with special needs and their families. Through our Developmental Center, Family Learning Center, Mobile Classroom, and Little Light House Academy, we serve families with a transdisciplinary team approach, demonstrating that every child is more than a diagnosis.

Position Overview
The Marketing Coordinator is support to the Creative and Marketing department, a highly organized, detail-oriented teammate who keeps projects moving, timelines on track, and the day-to-day rhythm of the department running smoothly. This role supports general marketing efforts across Little Light House, assists with content creation, manages project timelines, and provides essential administrative support to the Senior Director of Creative and Marketing and the broader team.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
General Marketing Support

Assist with the execution of marketing campaigns across digital, print, social, and email channels

Support the planning and promotion of LLH events, programs, and fundraising initiatives in both Tulsa and Oklahoma City

Coordinate with internal departments (Philanthropy, Events, Programs, Outreach) to gather information, photos, and assets needed for marketing materials

Maintain marketing calendars and ensure key dates, deadlines, and deliverables are visible across the team

Support brand consistency by helping monitor materials produced internally and by external partners

Assist in tracking marketing performance metrics and compiling reports for leadership

Project Management & Timeline Planning

Manage the department's project management system (Asana, Monday.com, or equivalent), keeping all projects current, assigned, and on schedule

Build and maintain project timelines for campaigns, events, and creative deliverables

Coordinate with the Social Media Coordinator, Graphic Designer, and Web Developer to ensure smooth handoffs and timely delivery

Track project requests submitted to the Marketing Department and ensure they move through the approval and production workflow

Send reminders, status updates, and meeting recaps to keep stakeholders informed

Identify bottlenecks and proactively raise issues to the Senior Director before they impact deadlines

Content Creation Support

Assist with copywriting for social media, email, web pages, newsletters, event materials, and internal communications

Help capture content (photos, short videos, quotes, stories) at events, programs, and around campus when needed

Support the Content Coordinator with content scheduling, captioning, and basic editing

Draft talking points, scripts, and supporting materials for marketing initiatives

Help maintain an organized content library (photos, video clips, testimonials, approved assets)

Department Administrative Support

Provide administrative support to the Senior Director of Creative and Marketing, including calendar coordination, meeting prep, agenda creation, and follow-up tracking

Maintain departmental files, documents, vendor contacts, and brand resources

Process invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports for the department

Coordinate vendor relationships, including print, promotional, and merchandise vendors

Support onboarding of new team members, interns, and volunteers within the Creative and Marketing department

Schedule department meetings, take notes, and track action items

Manage incoming marketing requests from other departments and route them appropriately

Serve as a friendly, responsive point of contact for staff across the organization who need marketing or creative support

Represent the Creative and Marketing team in cross-departmental meetings as needed

Contribute ideas, energy, and a team-first attitude to brainstorms, planning sessions, and creative reviews

Provide backup support for other team members during peak seasons, events, or campaigns

Qualifications & Skills
Required

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field — or equivalent professional experience

1–3 years of experience in a marketing, communications, project coordination, or administrative support role

Exceptional organizational skills and a sharp eye for detail

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace

Experience with (or aptitude to quickly learn) project management tools such as Microsoft Teams

Ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines without losing track of the details

A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset and a willingness to roll up your sleeves

Comfortable working in a team-focused, mission-driven, faith-based environment

Passion for children with special needs and nonprofit work

Preferred

Experience supporting a creative, marketing, or communications team

Familiarity with Mailchimp, Canva, basic Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools

Light photography or videography skills (smartphone-quality content capture)

Experience working with vendors, printers, or external partners

Background in event marketing or nonprofit communications
