Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Internal Communication

Line-manage a PR Coordinator and assistant, providing professional development, real-time coaching, and mentorship to drive quality execution and internal team performance.

Client Strategy & Planning

Contribute to shared planning initiatives and communication roadmaps, developing comprehensive annual PR plans reviewed monthly and adjusted as needed. Serve as a strategic partner to clients by aligning initiatives with brand objectives and acting as a proactive point of contact.

Editorial & Media Relations

Cultivate relationships with top-tier editors, writers, and journalists; pitch newsworthy content that reinforces leadership in sustainability, innovation, and design. Lead agency communications and ensure the media database is up to date, supporting account teams in meeting editors and industry insiders to best support client needs.

Pitching & Media Outreach

– Craft and deploy compelling pitches for product launches, trend stories, and cultural moments, targeting traditional and non-traditional media outlets (e.g., podcasts, substacks, emerging digital media). Pitch via phone and email, and coordinate media interviews and photography logistics.

Influencer Partnerships & Integration

Align influencer activations with major brand moments and sales priorities, coordinating efforts with in-house client eComm, retail, and CRM teams to track and optimize impact. Organize and run monthly cross-functional meetings with digital marketing and wholesale teams.

Gifting & Seeding Programs

– Strategically manage influencer seeding and gifting to generate high-impact organic content. Ensure gifting programs reflect brand priorities, are executed with precision, and tracked for ROI and resonance.

Event Planning & Activation

Manage budgets, timelines, run-of-show, and vendor relations, ensuring activations drive social, earned, and press value. Build relationships with hospitality PRs and related brands to enhance ideas and execution.

Content Development

Market & Cultural Insight

– Monitor media and cultural trends, competitor activity, and market opportunities to inform strategy and keep clients culturally relevant. Build relationships with tastemakers, editors, influencers, and key opinion leaders to secure story placements and brand visibility.

Cross-Functional Client Collaboration

– Act as an embedded extension of each client’s team, collaborating with marketing, merchandising, digital, and executive leads. Represent the agency’s POV while integrating across client-led cross-functional initiatives and ensuring efficient execution. Maintain regular, high-quality communication with client teams and nurture your professional network.

Reporting & Analytics
