Internal eCommerce Search Specialist

To enhance the internal search experience for a B2B pharmaceutical distribution eCommerce platform, the remote contract Internal eCommerce Search Specialist will optimize search algorithms, analyze search data, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product discoverability and conversion rates.
Key responsibilities

Fine-tune and optimize relevance algorithms and machine learning models for the internal search engine
Analyze on-site search queries and clickstream data to identify trends and optimization opportunities
Collaborate with various teams to refine search strategies and document governance policies

Required qualifications

2-5 years of experience managing and optimizing internal search relevance for high-volume eCommerce sites
Hands-on experience with enterprise search platforms, preferably Coveo or similar engines
Experience in the pharmaceutical, medical device, or healthcare retail sectors
