Key Responsibilities Sales & Customer Engagement Achieve Sales Targets: Consistently meet or exceed sales goals through effective prospecting, relationship‑building, and execution of national strategies.
Target and Engage Healthcare Providers: Build strong relationships with providers and secure commitment to adopt the Shield test.
Challenger Selling: Understand provider needs and demonstrate how Guardant Health’s offerings improve outcomes and streamline practice.
Educate and Support Providers: Deliver in‑depth product knowledge and training to practices to gain stakeholder support and integrate Shield into workflow.

Collaborate & Strategy Collaborate with Cross‑Functional Teams: Work with clinical, marketing, and product teams to align sales strategies.
Strategic Business Expansion: Identify new opportunities and collaborate with regional laboratories to expand reach and establish phlebotomy draw agreements.
Plan & Execute Launches: Develop and execute business plans aligned with brand strategies to support new screening technology launches.

Market Insights & Analysis Monitor Competitive Landscape: Analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and customer feedback to shape tactics.
Customer Feedback & Reporting: Share insights with the Commercial Team to refine products and strategies.

Customer Service & Operations Provide High‑Touch Customer Service: Resolve issues proactively and support providers throughout the sales cycle.
Compliance & Administrative Excellence: Adhere to company policies, industry standards, and regulations while managing multiple projects.

Qualifications Experience : Minimum of 4 years in customer‑facing sales in healthcare (diagnostics, medical device, or pharma) or 2 years in sales plus direct clinical experience as a registered nurse or physician assistant.
Preferred Experience : Diagnostic products, particularly blood‑based testing or cancer screening, directly to primary care providers; familiarity with the primary care landscape.
Sales Expertise : Ability to conduct selling conversations, overcome objections, and align client needs with product offerings.
Product Knowledge : Strong grasp of provider landscape and quick learning of technical product details.
Communication Skills : Exceptional oral and written skills; ability to present complex information understandably.
CRM Proficiency : Experience with Salesforce, Veeva, or similar platforms.
Customer Service Excellence : Superior negotiation, problem‑solving, and relationship‑building skills.

Compensation & Benefits Base salary: $116,000 – $133,000 (US Location, excluding bonuses, commissions, and equity).
Hybrid Work Model: Employees living within 50 miles of a Guardant facility must be onsite on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays; the remaining days may be remote.
