Job Summary
Develop, organize, and implement comprehensive programs in the assigned college, department, and/or unit. Prepare and coordinate programs and activities, promote internally and externally, evaluate effectiveness, and ensure compliance with university and USG policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
Develop, prepare, coordinate, and implement assigned programs.
Manage and facilitate department communications, including program marketing, website creation, mobile applications, and social media.
Serve as liaison and communicate with academic divisions, colleges, and departments.
Assist in developing, monitoring, and managing budget processes.
Manage event planning, marketing, and logistics.
Interpret, evaluate, develop, and implement policies and procedures.
Create, administer, and analyze assessment programs.
Facilitate program components, post‑program evaluation, and operational reporting.
Assist with developing new programming.
Prepare operational reports and analysis to inform center‑level reporting and decision‑making.
Supervise assigned staff and/or student assistants (as needed).
Qualifications
Educational Requirement: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher education in a related field.
Required Experience: Three (3) years of related work experience.
Preferred Educational Qualification: Advanced degree from an accredited institution of higher education in a related field.
Skills: Excellent project management, interpersonal, initiative, teamwork, problem‑solving, independent judgment, organization, communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
Abilities: Strategic thinking, creative problem‑solving, effective prioritization, collaborative relationships, multi‑tasking, and deadline management.
Other Attributes: Strong attention to detail, customer service skills, and professional email etiquette.
Additional Information
This is a supervisory position with financial responsibilities. The role does not require driving or a purchasing card. The position may travel 1%–24% of the time and is considered a position of trust. Background check will include a standard enhanced investigation.
