Our multi-brand and omni-channel approach include our own insurance carrier, insurance brands and partner brands.Role Overview: The Product Manager for Chameleon is responsible for ensuring the platform remains stable, valuable, and commercially viable. This role partners closely with Engineering, Support, Sales, and cross‑functional stakeholders to manage and prioritize the backlog, deliver the highest‑value work, and ensure customer and business needs are balanced through disciplined product decision‑making. This role is ideal for a Product Manager who thrives in optimization, operational excellence, and ROI‑focused product management, rather than greenfield development.Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Ownership & Backlog ManagementOwn and manage the product backlog for Chameleon, ensuring it is well‑groomed, clearly prioritized, and aligned to business valueEvaluate and prioritize work based on customer impact, revenue opportunity, retention risk, operational efficiency, and technical healthMake informed tradeoffs to ensure the team is consistently working on the highest‑value initiativesCross‑Functional CollaborationServe as the primary product point of contact for Engineering, Support, Sales, and other stakeholdersPartner with Support to understand customer issues, identify patterns, and distinguish defects from feature or workflow gapsPartner with Sales and Commercial teams to assess revenue opportunities, customer impact, and market needsTranslate stakeholder input into clear, actionable product requirementsDelivery & ExecutionEnsure high‑value product work is delivered successfully and predictablyWrite clear requirements, acceptance criteria, and user stories that enable efficient engineering executionIdentify and remove blockers that impede delivery, collaborating proactively across teamsParticipate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to continuously improve team effectivenessProduct Strategy & Commercial ResponsibilityApply a disciplined, ROI‑driven approach to product investment for a legacy platformBalance maintenance, enhancements, and new opportunities to support customer retention, revenue continuity, and operational viabilityContribute to roadmap planning and lifecycle decisions, ensuring transparency and alignment with company strategyCustomer & Business OutcomesEnsure Chameleon continues to deliver a reliable, high‑quality customer experienceMonitor product performance, customer feedback, and operational metricsAdvocate for improvements that meaningfully reduce friction, improve usability, or unlock commercial valueQualifications & Experience6+ years of Product Management experienceExperience managing established or legacy platforms preferredStrong backlog prioritization and decision‑making skillsProven ability to work cross‑functionally with Engineering, Support, and Commercial teamsComfort making tradeoffs in constrained environmentsExcellent communication and stakeholder‑management skillsExperience in SaaS, healthcare, veterinary, or regulated environments a plusWhat Success Looks LikeThe team consistently works on the right thingsHigh‑value initiatives ship predictablyCustomer satisfaction and platform stability remain strongProduct decisions are transparent, defensible, and aligned to business outcomesEngineering productivity and focus improve under clear product directionAll of our jobs come with great benefits including healthcare, parental leave and opportunities for career advancements.
