Seeking a detail-oriented Content Developer with strong experience in CMS platforms, catalog management tools, and eCommerce content operations to support the development and enhancement of customer-facing digital experiences. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams to manage content, product data, and media assets while ensuring accurate and timely releases across multiple projects and platforms.
Roles and Responsibilities –
• Author, update, and publish digital content within CMS platforms.
• Build and update web pages using CMS components, templates, and publishing tools.
• Manage content assets, metadata, tags, links, page properties, and media resources.
• Perform content QA, proofreading, link validation, and ensure brand consistency before publishing.
• Support content reviews and collaborate with business, engineering, and product teams.
• Set up content, product information, and media assets in Online Store Publishing tools to support engineering projects and testing.
• Track, package, and deploy content releases in accordance with complex release schedules and dependencies.
• Proactively identify and resolve content, publishing, and deployment issues to maintain a bug-free environment.
• Coordinate with offshore and onshore teams to ensure deliverables are completed efficiently and according to organizational standards.
• Produce detailed documentation for content setup, publishing workflows, and feature configurations.
• Gather, analyze, and report release metrics and deployment outcomes.
Mandatory Skills:
• Local to California or Texas and willing to work onsite 3 days per week in Sunnyvale, CA or Austin, TX.
• 6+ years of overall experience with a minimum of 4 years in Web Publishing, Content Management, eCommerce, Library Science, or related fields.
• Strong hands-on experience with CMS platforms such as AEM, WordPress, Drupal, or Joomla.
• Experience with Catalog Management tools such as Salsify, FileMaker, SAP CRM, or similar PIM solutions.
• Experience supporting global eCommerce shopping experiences and content operations.
• Strong understanding of content publishing workflows, release management, metadata management, and content QA.
• Experience using source control repositories such as Git or SVN.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, production schedules, competing priorities, and release dependencies.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail, data accuracy, ownership, and accountability.
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments with evolving requirements and short turnaround times.
Nice to Have Skills:
• Basic programming knowledge and understanding of web technologies.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and CMS integrations.
• Exposure to front-end frameworks such as Angular or React.
• Experience working closely with engineering teams on digital experience platforms.
• Knowledge of content taxonomy, digital asset management, and content governance best practices.
• Experience creating release metrics, reporting dashboards, and process documentation. xsgimln
