Temporary Social Media Intern
Position Information: The intern will serve as a junior content creator for the NC State College of Agriculture and Life Sciences social media accounts, focusing on creating engaging, social‑media‑forward content promoting strategic excellence and wellbeing within the college.
Key Responsibilities
Creative strategizing and social media content ideation
Creating social media content for @NCStateCALS, including vertical video, Instagram, and LinkedIn posts
Video production: ideation, storyboarding, filming, and editing
Creation of Instagram‑specific content (photo, graphic, video)
Creation of LinkedIn‑specific content (photo, graphic, video)
Capturing live photos/videos at events
Managing multiple assignments and meeting deadlines
Participating in training and meetings as part of the intern curriculum
Assistance with caption writing, social media posting strategy and community management
Creation of a final social media content project
Schedule
Flexible, hybrid schedule of approximately 10 hours per week. Hours generally fall between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., with some after‑hours and weekend work.
