Job Description
The Daily Beast’s Obsessed is seeking a talented, motivated, and dependable Editorial Intern to join our award‑winning newsroom on‑site in New York. Open to undergraduate juniors and seniors, graduate students, and post‑grads, the internship program is an exciting opportunity for emerging journalists to learn how a newsroom works while gaining hands‑on experience. The roles are full‑time (37.5 hours per week) for three‑month periods.

Ideal candidates are entertainment obsessives who can work quickly, write cleanly and with flair, and take initiative and direction. We are currently looking for eager and talented candidates to start in June 2026.

Qualifications

Experience writing and reporting stories about entertainment and pop culture.

A voracious news diet with a focus on celebrity, TV, film, and Hollywood.

Prior knowledge of web publishing and using a content management system is a plus.

Comfort meeting quick deadlines.
