The Daily Beast’s Obsessed is seeking a talented, motivated, and dependable Editorial Intern to join our award‑winning newsroom on‑site in New York. Open to undergraduate juniors and seniors, graduate students, and post‑grads, the internship program is an exciting opportunity for emerging journalists to learn how a newsroom works while gaining hands‑on experience. The role is full‑time (37.5 hours/week) for three‑month periods, with a start date in June 2026. Ideal candidates are entertainment obsessives who can work quickly, write cleanly with flair, take initiative, and follow direction.

Qualifications

Experience writing and reporting stories about entertainment and pop culture.

A voracious news diet with a focus on celebrity, TV, film, and Hollywood.

Prior knowledge of web publishing and using a content management system is a plus.

Compensation
This position pays an hourly rate of $19.00.
