Senior Relationship Manager, Insurance General Accounts at Capital Group
Base Pay Range
$217,000 - $261,000
In addition to a highly competitive base salary, by plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, a Capital annual profitability bonus and a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of eligible earnings. You also receive two annual bonuses and a generous retirement contribution.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for general account clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
Develop and execute strategic expansion into the insurance general account segment, including developing the business, team and internal readiness.
Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams (e.g. Investment Group, Product, Operations, Compliance & Legal) to deliver tailored solutions and an exceptional service experience.
Analyze client portfolios to identify investment opportunities and mitigate risks.
Lead client meetings, presentations, and negotiations with senior stakeholders across investment and operations functions.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and partner with compliance, legal and investment teams. Educate on evolving National Association of Insurance Commissioners regulations and be firm subject matter expert.
Partner with the retail insurance business development team on firm strategy and coverage for the Life & Annuity space.
Represent Capital Group at industry events, conferences, and consultant forums.

You have 10+ years of experience in relationship management with a proven track record of managing large, complex accounts and driving strategic growth in the insurance space.
You have strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with a strategic mindset and entrepreneurial spirit.
You have the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence at all levels.
You have a deep understanding of the insurance landscape with substantial technical knowledge of different investment strategies and solutions deployed in the insurance space.
You have a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field; a CFA and/or advanced business degree is preferred.
You have the Series 7, 66 (or equivalent) and 24 licenses.
