The Opportunity
FOCO is seeking a Microsoft 365 Systems Administrator to support, optimize, and secure our Microsoft 365 environment across the organization.This role is responsible for administering Microsoft 365 services, managing users and permissions, supporting endpoint and identity systems, troubleshooting end-user issues, and helping drive best practices across collaboration, productivity, and security tools.The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong technical knowledge, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to support employees across a fast-paced, global consumer products and eCommerce business.
What You'll Do
Microsoft 365 Administration
Administer and support Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive for Business, Microsoft Defender, and Intune
Manage user accounts, groups, permissions, licensing, and access across the Microsoft 365 environment
Monitor Microsoft 365 service health, performance, and availability
Troubleshoot issues related to email delivery, SharePoint access, Teams functionality, OneDrive synchronization, and user access
Identity, Security & Compliance
Support Microsoft Entra ID / Azure Active Directory, including user identity and access management
Manage Multi-Factor Authentication, Conditional Access, and related security policies
Configure and support Microsoft 365 security and compliance features including Data Loss Prevention, retention policies, encryption, and Microsoft Defender
Perform regular system audits and support compliance with company security standards
Endpoint & End User Support
Support endpoint device management and user productivity tools
Provide training and guidance to employees on Microsoft 365 applications and best practices
Partner with help desk and infrastructure teams to resolve escalated issues
Maintain a strong customer-service approach when supporting technical and non-technical users
Automation, Documentation & Process Improvement
Use PowerShell scripting to automate Microsoft 365 administration tasks where appropriate
Create and maintain documentation for Microsoft 365 configurations, processes, procedures, and support standards
Identify opportunities to improve support workflows, SLAs, and global IT processes
Stay current with Microsoft 365 updates, features, and best practices
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Collaborate with IT, Operations, Finance, eCommerce, and other internal teams to ensure Microsoft 365 tools integrate smoothly with business applications and infrastructure
Support IT projects, system rollouts, migrations, and productivity improvements
Work with internal teams and external vendors to resolve technical issues and improve service delivery
What You'll Bring
Required
4+ years of experience in Microsoft 365 administration, systems administration, endpoint support, or IT infrastructure support
Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration including Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and Microsoft Defender
Experience with Microsoft Entra ID / Azure Active Directory and user identity management
Experience managing MFA, Conditional Access, permissions, and security policies
Working knowledge of PowerShell scripting for Microsoft 365 administration and automation
Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve complex technical issues
Excellent communication skills with the ability to support technical and non-technical users
Strong documentation, organization, and follow-through skills
Ability to work on-site in Piscataway, NJ
Preferred
Microsoft certifications such as Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator, Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals, or related certifications
Experience with endpoint device management
Experience in retail, eCommerce, distribution, consumer products, or fast-paced operational environments
Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Zendesk, or similar ticketing/project management platforms
Experience working with internal employees and external IT service providers
Ability to travel domestically or internationally as needed
