Interventional Radiology Tech Interventional Radiology Tech needed in a well-respected facility. The facility features a high license bed capacity and is designated as a teaching hospital. Average patient census is approximately 15 patients per day. The role involves working with a variety of patient types and common diagnoses, including venous work and body work procedures. Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, and ARRT-R or RCIS. The team consists of 1 provider, 4 APPs, and 2 techs per room with an RN. Equipment used includes Siemens equipment and Sonosite Ultrasound, with documentation managed through an EMR system. Travelers may float but are not required to do so. Weekend rotation is available, but primarily consists of call shifts. On-call responsibilities are estimated at 3-4 days per month, with holiday scheduling managed through the manager. Scrub color is black, and uniforms are hospital-provided.
