An established and highly regarded law firm is seeking an experienced Employment Solicitor (5–6 years’ PQE) to join its growing Employment team. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded lawyer looking to work on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters for a diverse client base, including both businesses and private individuals.

Key Responsibilities

Advising employers on a wide range of employment law matters, including disciplinary and grievance procedures, performance management, redundancies, TUPE and organisational restructures

Managing Employment Tribunal claims from initial instruction through to resolution

Drafting and negotiating employment contracts, policies, settlement agreements and related documentation

Supporting corporate transactions through employment law advice and due diligence

Providing commercially focused, strategic advice tailored to clients' objectives

Building and maintaining strong client relationships

Contributing to business development activities, including networking, client training and seminars

About You
You will be a qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with approximately 5–6 years’ post-qualification experience in employment law and will possess:

Strong technical expertise across both contentious and non-contentious employment matters

Experience managing a varied caseload with minimal supervision

Excellent drafting, analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong client care and relationship management abilities

A proactive and commercially aware approach

The ability to prioritise effectively and work to deadlines

Excellent organisation and time-management skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
