Virtual Vocations Inc is hiring: Medical Editor in New York

Working remotely, the part-time Medical Editor will review, edit, and fact-check promotional and internal communication materials in a regulated healthcare environment while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and supporting Medical, Legal, and Regulatory review processes.
Key responsibilities

Review and edit a variety of healthcare-related content, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards
Facilitate Promotional Review Committee meetings, manage approval workflows, and collaborate with cross-functional teams
Support FDA promotional submission activities and manage Veeva PromoMats workflows and user access

Required qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Science, Healthcare, Communications, Journalism, English, Technical Writing, or a related field
3+ years of editing experience in medical, pharmaceutical, or healthcare settings
Experience with AMA Style and fact-checking medical content
Familiarity with MLR/PRC review processes and regulatory approval workflows
Proficiency in Veeva PromoMats and tools like Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Word is preferred
