PRIMARY PURPOSE:
Accompany and assist in teaching solos, small ensembles, and choral groups in rehearsals and at performances.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certification:
Bachelor's Degree in Music, Music Education, or Music Performance.
Valid Texas teaching certificate, or be able to go through an Alternative Certification Program, leading to Texas Certification.
Special Knowledge/Skills:

Primary instrument - piano; high degree of proficiency on piano.
Must be able to sight-read music and read an open score.
Must be able to follow conductor and play choral and vocal accompaniments.
Knowledge of healthy vocal techniques and choral pedagogy.
Experience:

At least one year of student teaching or approved internship.
