Key Responsibilities

A Day in the Life
You lead complex cloud projects for Department of Defense customers—modernization programs, classified system migrations, and AI/ML capabilities for defense operations. You facilitate daily stand‑ups, sprint planning sessions, backlog grooming, technical exchange meetings, sprint reviews, and demonstrations for stakeholders. You troubleshoot technical issues, align military IT leaders and program managers under strict security requirements, and conduct long‑range planning. You coordinate AWS specialists, solutions architects, and partner companies while advocating for project personnel and resources. You control project budgets, communicate with stakeholders and customers, and identify and mitigate risks constantly. You mentor other engagement managers, turn around distressed projects, and establish best practices.

Basic Qualifications
5+ years of leading the delivery of IT projects with external customers or equivalent experience.
5+ years of program or engagement management work leading other project managers to deliver a program with multiple and concurrent projects.
1+ year of working as a Scrum Master or Product Owner across multiple cross‑functional teams.
3+ years of cloud computing experience.
Experience in leading the delivery of IT projects with external customers or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
Project management certification (e.g., APM, CSM, PMI‑ACP, PRINCE2).
AWS certification.
Knowledge of the value proposition of the public cloud and cloud engagement delivery (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
Experience working with and presenting to C‑level executives, IT, and lines of businesses across organizations or equivalent.

Salary and Benefits
Base salary range: 131,200.00 – 177,600.00 USD annually (varies by location).
