Has proven experience designing logos, multi-page booklets, brochures, and both print and digital ads.
Creates original, scroll-stopping content for social media.
Can build and manage pages using WordPress.
Writes and edits compelling content across platforms.
Masters Adobe Creative Suite (especially InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects).
Understands integrated marketing and tracks performance to optimize campaigns.
Works collaboratively in a fast-paced, creative environment.
This role supports our advertising, PR, social media, and content strategies while producing high-quality visual assets that elevate the destination brand and drive visitation.
Professional design experience is essential.

This is highly responsible administrative work managing a program in tourist development to ensure that implementation and prescribed activities are carried out in accordance with departmental and County objectives. An employee assigned to this classification is responsible for project management and communication, including writing, editing, and graphic design to create content and collateral materials for marketing, advertising, and public relations initiatives and other tourism related projects. Work is performed under the direction of a higher-level supervisor and is reviewed through conferences, reports, and observation of results obtained.

*IAFF – International Association of Firefighters Pay periods are every two weeks, Monday through Sunday. Payday is Friday. International Association of Firefighters follow the General Contract 7k regarding holidays. Vacation Leave – Generous vacation accrual rates with payout of unused accrued leave, with some restrictions. For more detailed information regarding vacation leave refer to Employee Policy Manual, Section 7-2. Sick leave is earned at a rate of 4 hours per pay period by all permanent, full-time employees*. At the end of each fiscal year, eligible employees can convert up to 10 days of accrued sick leave to vacation leave on a 2:1 basis.
