Summary
Senior position developing and maintaining business for significant global consumer accounts, focusing on selling and improving logistics solutions across road, freight forwarding, contract logistics, customs brokerage, and value‑added services. Integral to establishing and maintaining long‑term strategic relationships beyond single point solutions.

Duties & Responsibilities
Develop and execute a comprehensive account plan aimed at maintaining existing business and identifying top opportunities.
Manage named global consumer accounts, meeting agreed financial and performance targets based on DSV processes.
Develop solutions for named global customers, leveraging DSV vertical structure and competencies into innovative developments.
Work closely with operations to deliver high level of service to customers.
Identify and develop relationships with key decision makers at all levels within an account.
Understand the customer’s buying process and business (strategically, operationally, and financially).
Work closely with customers to intimately understand their needs.
Collaborate across all divisions within DSV to create custom solutions that deliver value.
Maintain an open dialogue with the account executive sponsor and keep the sponsor engaged.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in logistics and supply chain management.
Minimum 5 years of recent global account sales experience.
Minimum 8 years of experience in the logistics and supply chain industry.
Advanced subject‑matter expertise in the industry.
Proven track record of sales success within the industry.
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and others).
Advanced mathematical skills for project development.
Advanced level of business acumen.
Strong creative problem‑solving and analytical skills.
Self‑motivated team player.
Must be able to travel frequently.
Physical Demands
Perform duties in an office environment, using hands, computer, and telephone equipment; limited exposure to fumes, noise level low to moderate; ability to travel by land, air, sea as needed.
Compensation & Benefits
Base pay range: $160,000.00 – $220,000.00 Annual. Compensation determined by experience, skills, education, certifications, and location, per applicable laws and company policy. Benefits, programs, and eligibility may vary by location and division in accordance with state and local laws.
