This is a player‑coach leadership role for a distribution professional focused on building strong teams, strengthening agency partnerships, and driving profitable growth.In this role, you will play a key part in executing GUARD's distribution strategy—representing our products in the market, expanding regional reach, and leading a team of Territory Managers and Virtual Territory Managers. This position offers the opportunity to influence strategy while maintaining a hands‑on leadership approach.Eastern Region Coverage: ME, VT, NH, MA, CT, RI, NJ, NY, PA, WV, OH, KY, DE, DC, MD, VA, NC, SC, FL, GA, AL, TN, LA, MSLead Field and Virtual DistributionLead, coach, and develop Territory Managers and Virtual Territory Managers across the Eastern Region, reinforcing accountability, performance expectations, and professional developmentEstablish a consistent and scalable approach to distribution leadership aligned with company prioritiesServe as a visible leader within both the organization and the agency communityStrengthen Agency PartnershipsBuild and maintain senior‑level agency relationships that support profitable, long‑term growthAlign agency strategies with GUARD's underwriting approach, product offerings, and market objectivesRepresent GUARD as a trusted and disciplined carrier partnerDrive Sales ExecutionOversee a structured and repeatable sales process supported by clear metrics and performance expectationsEnsure effective use of tools, resources, and sales activity across the regionMaintain alignment between distribution execution and underwriting strategyLead Regional Market DevelopmentPartner with distribution and underwriting leadership to identify growth opportunities and refine territory alignmentGuide regional expansion efforts through thoughtful evaluation and executionContribute to broader distribution planning effortsUse Market & Performance InsightsAnalyze agency performance, market trends, and competitive activity to inform decision‑makingEnsure regional strategies remain responsive to market conditions while maintaining underwriting disciplineTranslate insights into clear actions that support performance and growthQualifications5+ years of experience managing field distribution, with success leading geographically dispersed sales teamsDemonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong agency partnershipsStrong technical knowledge of commercial insurance, including Workers' Compensation, Businessowners', Commercial Auto, and UmbrellaFamiliarity with the Eastern Region, including agency networks and competitive landscapeStrong sales acumen, sound judgment, and effective people leadership skillsBachelor's degree preferredAbility and willingness to travel regularly throughout the regionProficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Power BI is a plusValid driver's license required and ability to meet company driving standardsThis position is subject to background screening, which may include drug testing and motor vehicle record review for roles involving driving.#J-18808-Ljbffr
