Senior Transmission Line Engineer

Pay Rate$150k - $175k (estimate)Job DescriptionSeeking a Senior Transmission Line Engineer to support and lead large-scale overhead transmission and EPC power delivery projects. This role serves as a technical and client-facing lead, driving overhead transmission line design from routing through construction while helping expand the company's transmission footprint across the Pacific Northwest.Key responsibilities include:Act as responsible engineer and technical client point of contact for power delivery projectsLead overhead transmission line design efforts from routing through construction supportServe as Lead Engineer on large, multidisciplinary EPC projectsPrepare, review, and P.E. seal engineering calculations and construction documentsPerform and oversee:Structure analysisFoundation and pier designDevelopment of design criteria and specificationsIncrease volume of overhead line work with existing clientsSupport business development and client expansion efforts in the NorthwestCoordinate with internal teams and external stakeholdersParticipate in site visits and construction support as neededManage multiple projects simultaneously and provide QA/QCMentor and develop junior engineersWe are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. Skills & Experience8+ years of progressive transmission line / civil-structural engineering experienceStrong overhead transmission experienceCivil engineering background with emphasis on:Pier foundations (strong preference)Experience applicable to both overhead and subsurface workExperience acting as a lead or client-facing engineerProfessional Engineer (P.E.) license requiredProficiency with:PLS-CADDPLS-POLENice to Have Skills & ExperienceExperience with PLS-TOWERExperience supporting large EPC transmission programsBenefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
