We develop and manufacture engineered products that serve a wide range of industries through the use of composites and advanced materials.Job ID: 293411536Position Summary: We are seeking a hands-on Production Engineer who enjoys solving manufacturing challenges in a fast-paced production environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on process improvement, troubleshooting, equipment optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives. The successful candidate will work closely with production, engineering, vendors, and leadership teams to improve manufacturing processes, support production efficiency, and help bring innovative products from concept to reality.Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain manufacturing and engineering work instructionsAssist in establishing, improving, and optimizing manufacturing processesMonitor and troubleshoot production and process-related issuesSupport the design and implementation of custom manufacturing equipment and toolingConduct time studies and support continuous improvement initiativesCollaborate with production personnel to improve safety, quality, and efficiencyWork with vendors and suppliers to obtain quotes and support project activitiesGenerate requests for proposals (RFPs) and assist with vendor managementSupport Lean Manufacturing, TPM, and process improvement initiativesEnsure compliance with company safety standards and OSHA requirementsTravel between Ridge facilities in Pataskala and Frazeysburg as neededPreferred Qualifications & Skills:Associate degree in Engineering Technology or related fieldCAD experience preferred (SolidWorks strongly preferred)Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilityExperience in manufacturing, process engineering, or industrial environmentsFamiliarity with electrical controls and AC power systemsMechanical design experienceExperience with Lean Manufacturing and/or Lean Six Sigma principlesTPM and continuous improvement experience preferredFamiliarity with ISO, QS, or other quality systemsKnowledge of composites, plastics, or related manufacturing processes preferredExperience utilizing control plans, flow charts, and process documentationProficiency with Microsoft Office applications; Minitab experience is a plusAbility to use precision measurement tools including micrometers, calipers, and tape measuresIdeal Candidate Traits:Self-motivated and capable of working independentlyCreative problem solver with a hands-on mindsetStrong communication and interpersonal skillsComfortable working in a collaborative team environmentAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced settingPhysical Requirements:Ability to stand for extended periods of timeAbility to push, pull, lift, and/or carry up to 25 lbs.The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by individuals assigned to this position.
