This is not a traditional digital role. The Executive Producer will be a central editorial leader\u2014responsible for breaking down silos between digital, broadcast, streaming, and social, and ensuring every story we produce lives across platforms in meaningful, audience\u2011driven ways. This leader will build, coach, and elevate a high\u2011performing digital team; help drive growth (the streaming platform); and raise the entire newsroom\u2019s fluency in how audiences consume news today.Core Responsibilities Lead & Build a high-performance Digital teamSet the vision, standards, and daily expectations for Digital performanceCreate accountability around metrics, content quality, and editorial judgmentIdentify gaps and actively train the team in video, social, SEO, and analyticsServe as a key voice in daily editorial decision-making, alongside broadcast leadershipEnsure Digital is present early in story conception, not just at the endPush for stronger, smarter story framing that works across all platformsHold the newsroom accountable to multiplatform executionIntegrate Digital, Broadcast, and StreamingPartner with show EPs, assignment editors, and producers to extend the life of every storyCreate seamless workflows between linear, Digital, and streamingEnsure broadcast content is consistently optimized and repurposed for Digital and CTVDrive the evolution towards vertical videoEliminate gaps where content is left underutilized or audience opportunities are missedDrive the Growth of streamingWork in lockstep with the Executive Producer, Streaming to build and grow WBTW+Identify daily opportunities for live, near-live, and on-demand content on streamingSupport the promotion of WBTW+ across all platformsElevate Social & Audience Reach Across the NewsroomLead a newsroom-wide approach to social, not just a digital team functionEstablish clear expectations for how content is created and distributed on social platformsTrain and guide newsroom staff to produce content that performs natively on each platformStay ahead of trends and ensure WBTW is competitive in emerging formatsOwn Digital Performance & GrowthOversee homepage strategy, editorial prioritization, and identifying content that, when packaged correctly, will resonate on digital platforms.Use real-time and long-term analytics to guide decisions and adjust strategyDrive measurable growth in engagement, loyalty, and reachEstablish clear KPIs and ensure consistent performance against themBasic Qualifications Proven leadership in a digital news environment, with experience managing people and performanceStrong editorial judgment with the ability to lead in a breaking news environmentTrack record of driving audience growth through content strategy and executionDeep understanding of SEO, analytics, and social platformsExperience working across video, streaming, and digital storytelling formatsAbility to influence across teams and lead without rigid organizational boundariesStrong communicator who can set expectations and hold teams accountableComfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving newsroom environmentPreferred Qualifications Management experience preferred but not required3 years of experience a plus#LI-OnsiteEEO Statement EEO Statement: Equal Opportunity Employer.
