Audit Program Development

Develops plans for assigned audit program area(s) to improve the overall Agency's mission effectiveness.
Performing detailed research and analysis of historical documents, legislation, case law, regulations, audit standards and technical data to support the development of effective new or revised audit policies, procedures, and guidance.
Monitors the progress of program performance through field visits; trend analyses; coordination with Headquarters, regional or field components; and interfaces with external Government and industry groups.
Prepares quality and timely products related to assigned program areas.
Maintaining liaison with counterparts and representing the Agency.
