Transmission Engineer

Required Skills & Experience
• Transmission Line (T-Line) engineering experience
• 7 years minimum
• Must be hands-on design (not just PM or utility ops)
• PLS-CADD modeling experience REQUIRED
• Experience working with utilities
• PE required (or actively pursuing at minimum)

Job Description
The Senior Transmission Engineer will lead the design of complex transmission line projects. Responsibilities will include project technical oversight, providing technical expertise, and leading technical design staff. This position will be a recognized industry leader in transmission line design and provide best practices for related projects.

Responsibilities:
• Manage 4–5 projects simultaneously
• Lead larger, more complex, high profile transmission line projects
o Larger scope = 12+ mile projects or complex EPC work
o Lead team of engineers by giving direction on project execution
• Provide:
o Technical leadership across projects
o Oversight of design, quality, and execution xsgimln
• More involvement in:
o EPC work (engineering, procurement, construction coordination)
o Procurement + construction phases
• Act as:
o Technical lead + partial PM hybrid
o Support PM responsibilities when needed
• Engage with:
o Clients and stakeholders at a higher level
o More cross-functional coordination
