Vice President, Digital Influence, CX

DeVries is looking for a senior digital leader who sits at the intersection of influencer marketing, paid strategy, and client experience. This VP will be responsible for running the account end-to-end

serving as the main client contact, leading the day-to-day relationship, and ensuring all workstreams ladder up to brand and business goals. They will oversee all earned, social, and influencer programs while connecting the dots across teams to ensure strategy is cohesive and impactful. This role is based in our New York Office, hybrid.
The VP will own full-funnel influencer programsensuring they are architected from the start with paid amplification in mindwhile serving as a trusted client advisor and driving measurable business impact. The ideal candidate brings fluency in both the creator economy and paid media best practices, understanding how organic influence and paid distribution work together to maximize reach, efficiency, and conversion.
Key Responsibilities

Lead full-funnel influencer programs spanning awareness, engagement, and conversionincluding celebrity, creator, and ambassador partnerships across all major social platforms
Identify, negotiate, and manage influencer talent across tiers, channels, categories, and niches; navigate contracting and FTC compliance
Architect influencer programs with paid amplification built in from the briefpartnering with paid media teams to boost high-performing content, execute dark posts, and extend reach through whitelisting and creator licensing strategies
Own post-campaign evaluation: ROI measurement, analytics platforms (e.g., CreatorIQ, Tagger), and optimization recommendations
Serve as the senior day-to-day client partnerproviding proactive strategic counsel, adapting to executive audiences, and driving organic account growth
Oversee integration of all account work across earned media, influencer, social, and traditional channels into cohesive, measurable campaigns
Define KPIs, implement reporting frameworks, and present campaign performance with clear business impact to senior stakeholders
Educate clients unfamiliar with influencer marketing on best practices, platform nuances, and path-to-purchase measurement
Directly manage 2+ team members; mentor junior staff and cultivate a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous growth
Lead and contribute to new business pitches; proactively identify growth opportunities within existing client accounts
Champion influencer thought leadership internally and externallysharing platform updates, emerging tools, and industry best practices
Manage program budgets, monthly reconciliation, forecasting, and year-end reconciliations
Qualifications

Required
912+ years of experience in influencer marketing, social/digital strategy, or integrated communicationsagency experience strongly preferred
Deep expertise across the creator economy, major social platforms, and influencer analytics/measurement tools
Proven track record leading integrated, multi-channel campaigns and managing complex, cross-functional client accounts
Strong influencer contracting and negotiation skills, including talent representation and multi-tier partnerships
Exceptional presenter and communicatorconfident with C-suite clients and external audiences
Experience managing and growing teams in both local and remote environments
Preferred
Fluency in paid media strategy and executionincluding whitelisting, dark posts, boosting, and creator licensingand how these connect to organic influencer programming
Familiarity with large-scale product launches and CPG account environments
Advanced proficiency in influencer platforms (CreatorIQ, Tagger, or equivalent) and digital analytics tools
Salary range: 120,000-175,000
DeVries has included the base salary or hourly rate for this role. Actual compensation offered within the range will depend upon, among other factors: actual ranges for current or former employees in the role; market considerations; budgetary considerations; as well as a candidate's background, relevant experience, and qualifications.
