The Production Technician is an integral part of our Manufacturing team based out of our US - Sarasota, FL site. This position is 1st shift, Monday through Friday from 5:00 am - 1:30 pm, with some mandatory overtime. We offer competitive wages, bonuses, and a generous benefits package, including:

Key Responsibilities:
Operation, care and routine maintenance of production fermentation processing equipment
Assembly and disassembly of valves and manufacturing equipment
Clean and sanitize work room and equipment between each production run.
Accurately weigh raw material for production
Participate in inventory counts
Must be able to perform daily duties safely in a fast-paced, team environment
Maintaining a clean and safe work environment including general cleaning duties for plant and employee safety
Adhere to standard operating procedures and GMP practices
All manufacturing activities will be performed according to SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures)

Education & Experience:
High School diploma and/or 1 to 3 years of manufacturing experience preferred but not required. We will train the right candidate.
Physical Requirements:
Required to bend frequently
Required to use hands constantly
This position is designated as a "SafetySensitive Position".
Perform repetitive motions during shift
Good hand/eye coordination
Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including but not limited to, hair net, beard net, face mask, foot covers, lab coat, and protective footwear.
Required to push or pull 21 to 50 lbs
Required to lift or carry 21 to 50 lbs
Required to squat or kneel constantly
Able to stand for more than three hours at a time without a break
