Multicultural/h3pWeber Shandwick seeks an Account Director to drive strategy, develop culturally relevant campaigns, mentor talent and serve as a trusted advisor to clients. As this role will be integral with engaging authentically with the Hispanic community, qualified candidates will also be bilingual./ppAs a leader, you recognize that excellent client service is the key to our success and that drives your daily interactions. You enjoy leading and developing an account team, understand how to achieve operational excellence with your teams, and help to craft the skills of rising stars./ph3The Role:/h3ulliServe as the lead on local Hispanic consumer engagement efforts for McDonalds in the SoCal region, developing and overseeing culturally relevant Hispanic PR strategies and community-facing activations, from concept to execution while bringing a value-added approach to issues and projects/liliServe as a leader within the West Coast brand practice, leading consumer-facing brand building efforts, building strategy, overseeing and executing programing with the support of your teams./liliMentor and manage high-performing teams; develop mid-and junior-level talent, fostering respect and collaboration/liliCollaborate closely with internal teams and agency partners to deliver integrated work/liliDeliver strategic, engaging, and persuasive presentations to articulate ideas to clients, colleagues, and others effectively/liliBe obsessed with culture by staying on top of media and social trends, including those impacting Hispanic/multicultural communities and brands/liliThe ideal candidate thrives in relationship-building and stakeholder engagement./liliBalance multiple projects/issues seamlessly, encourage effective delegation, and assess program effectiveness ensuring ROI and efficient use of client budget/liliAble and comfortable driving to events and meetings throughout Southern California/li/ulh3Experience:/h3pThe ideal candidate will have a solid track record of developing and implementing strategies that apply the full scope of the communications mix, including media relations, influencer outreach, community partnerships, and events. Experience working with the Hispanic consumer segment as part of an integrated marketing team, representing the PR POV while helping to lead cross-agency work streams for local
ational campaigns is a priority./pulli8+ years of relevant work experience; agency experience in the consumer PR category is a requirement/liliProven experience running day-to-day client service and project management of large, multi-channel brands with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders/liliStrong experience across earned/traditional and social media; paid is a plus/liliExcellent written and verbal communication skills. Spanish speaker required/liliExperience engaging with, managing relationships, and presenting to mid- to senior-level clients/liliOutstanding judgment when working with diverse media outlets, team members, client contacts, and vendors/liliAn exceptional project manager who is very organized with unfailing attention to detail/liliExperience managing budgets/li/ulpSalary Range: $100,000 USD
