Associate Designer

Responsibilities

Support the design team in developing trend-right swimwear collections from concept through production.

Conduct trend, market, and competitive research to identify new opportunities and product ideas.

Create and maintain CADs, presentation materials, and design documentation.

Assist in building balanced assortments that align with brand vision and customer needs.

Partner with Product Development and Technical Design to ensure products meet fit, quality, and cost requirements.

Review samples, attend fittings, and update designs based on feedback.

Assist with tech packs, fabric and trim organization, and product handoffs.

Prepare materials for design reviews, line reviews, and retailer presentations.

Maintain accurate records, take meeting notes, and support cross-functional communication.

Collaborate effectively with Design, Product Development, Technical Design, Textile Design, and 3D teams.

Manage workload and meet all calendar deadlines.

Contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or related field preferred.

2–4 years swimwear experience a must.

Strong Adobe Illustrator skills.

Understanding of swim construction, fit and fabrics.

Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.

Passion for swimwear, fashion, trends, and product design.
