Overview
The Business Development Manager leads the identification, evaluation, and development of new business opportunities that support GLSS's strategic goals, revenue diversification, and operational expansion.
Responsibilities
Source partnerships, develop shared services opportunities, and cultivate customer relationships with community organizations, municipalities, health systems, other nonprofits, and potential fee-for-service clients.
Work closely with the CEO, CFO, and Senior leadership team to translate GLSS's strengths into scalable service offerings, with emphasis on developing new shared-service lines, supporting relationship management, and assisting with outreach and in-reach efforts across internal teams.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Public Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field (Master's preferred).
5+ years of experience in business development, partnership management, nonprofit operations, or related roles.
Experience developing and executing strategies to enter new markets and increase market visibility and presence.
Strong analytical abilities with comfort working with financial models, business cases, and market analysis.
Strong negotiation, networking, communication, and strategic planning skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to lead presentations and represent GLSS professionally.
Relationship-builder with a customer-centric mindset.
Knowledge of human services, elder services, social services, or healthcare strongly preferred.
Project management experience a plus.
Hours
Full Time 40 hours per week (Monday–Friday). Hybrid, with in-office and community presence.
Compensation
Page Range: $100,000–$125,500 per year.
