IT/AV Support Specialist (Executive Conference Room Support)

Location: Mayfield Heights, OH (Onsite)

Duration: 12-month contract (extensions + potential to convert)

Pay Rate: $25–32/hour

Overview
Insight Global is seeking an IT/AV Support Specialist to support executive-level meetings and conference room environments for a large enterprise client. This individual will be responsible for ensuring meetings run smoothly, troubleshooting issues in real time, and serving as the go-to resource for all AV-related support.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong IT support background who has hands‑on experience with conference room technology, live event support, or audio-visual environments.

Key Responsibilities

Set up, test, and support executive meetings and conference room technology

Troubleshoot AV and technical issues in real time during meetings

Provide white‑glove support to high‑visibility stakeholders

Guide users through technical and AV‑related issues clearly and professionallySupport a variety of collaboration tools in a Microsoft‑based environment

Assist with general Tier 2 IT support and desktop troubleshooting as needed

Required Qualifications

2–5 years of IT support experience (helpdesk, desktop support, or similar)

Hands‑on experience with conference rooms, AV setups, or meeting support

Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and AV systems

Excellent communication skills with the ability to support high‑level stakeholders

Ability to stay calm and professional in high‑pressure, live meeting environments

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting executive‑level users or high‑visibility environments

Background in Microsoft technologies (Teams, M365, etc.)

Experience in live events, theater production, university AV, or similar environments

Ideal Candidate Profile

IT support professional who has owned or supported AV in their environment

Comfortable operating in fast‑paced, high‑visibility settings

Strong communicator who can walk users through issues step‑by‑step

Experience handling live troubleshooting during meetings, events, or presentations
