Senior Account Executive – Membership Association
The Ford Agency is spearheading the search for a Senior Account Executive to join a well-respected membership association. This individual is responsible for managing the business development and membership sales process through a relationship-focused approach. The successful candidate will have experience presenting to c-suite executives, directors, and other business leaders. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced sales professional with experience in the professional services industry or association sector looking to take on a more visible role.

Responsibilities

Manage business development and sales process from prospecting to closing

Communicate with prospective members, understand their needs and goals, and present creative solutions

Build and nurture relationships with business leaders, executives, and board members to drive sales

Mentor and train junior team members and give constructive feedback

Stay up to date on market trends, association offerings, and sales strategies

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree

5+ years of experience in B2B sales or account management

Experience in professional services or associations preferred

Ability to develop strong relationships with business executives and board members

Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms

Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Exceptional communication skills

Results oriented

Compensation
$85,000 - $100,000 annually + bonus structure

Location
Candidate must be based in DC, MD, or VA area or have independent plans for relocation.
