About Us
Wonderhouse is a hospitality-forward coworking and community space designed for modern families — an all-ages environment where adults can work, wonder, and gather while children engage in the same (their own important work of play, creativity, and learning nearby). Founded by a longtime educator and local Mama, Wonderhouse was created from a belief that families deserve spaces that are both beautiful and functional — spaces where children are genuinely welcome and adults don’t have to choose between productivity and connection.
Located in an iconic building in downtown Mill Valley, Wonderhouse blends thoughtfully designed workspaces, play and learning studios, events, and community experiences under one roof. We aim to open our doors in Fall 2026 and are building the founding team that will help bring this vision to life.
The Opportunity
We're looking for a community-minded creative with an artistic eye and playful spirit to help us build our online presence from the ground up (starting with the build-out and carrying through opening day). This begins as a project-based engagement, with real potential to grow into something ongoing for the right person.
You Might Be the One If…
You’re an idea machine for catchy content that you’d find on “wholesome TikTok”
Have experience building or growing an account with an engaged audience (your own, a brand, a business)
Can shoot, edit, and post independently – start to finish
You write copy that sounds like a real person, not a brand>
You genuinely care about building community, families with kids, and supporting local small businesses
You're responsive, reliable, and a proactive communicator
Given we’re a start‑up, you’re flexible to go with the flow and remain organized
You're based in the Bay Area and can get to Mill Valley a few times a month
What You’ll Do
Strategy + Collaboration
Regular check‑ins with our CEO and COO to collaborate on storyboards, align on art direction for upcoming content, and overall branding direction
Bring forward ideas — what's trending, what's working, something new, what we should try next
Track basic analytics and present what engagement suggests is resonating (and what's not)
Content Creation
Visit our Mill Valley space in person a few times a month to capture photo and video
Edit short‑form video for Reels and Stories that are polished and relatable
Design on‑brand graphics in Canva or similar software
Write copy that embodies our brand voice: warm, playful, professional
Channel Management
Own and grow our Instagram (primary) & Facebook (secondary) channels; and possibly add TikTok
Post consistently at least 1–3x/week to start, with a mix of feed posts, stories, and reels
Schedule content using a planning tool, preferably Planoly
Engage the comments and DMs in our brand voice in a timely and genuine manner; forward more nuanced responses to our team
Monthly Deliverables
Photos and videos from the field (construction, founder moments, events, day in the life of)
7‑16 Instagram posts a month: static graphics, carousels, and short‑form video
Regular syncs with the leadership team (mix of in‑person and virtual) to align on direction and upcoming needs
Light community engagement in comments and DMs
Full ownership of the admin layer: scheduling, copywriting, analytics, comfort with async communication tools like Slack, and ability to meet deadlines without needing reminder follow‑ups
Given the presence of minors a phone will be provided for this job
