Position Summary
The School of Music at the University of Alabama invites applications for a full‑time, renewable contract instructor in Applied Percussion.
Responsibilities
Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Applied Percussion.
Supervise graduate students and adjunct assistants in the area.
Lead the University of Alabama Percussion Ensemble.
Fulfill an anticipated teaching load of 12 credit hours per semester, subject to variation with related course work.
Qualifications
Minimum: Master’s degree in music (percussion performance preferred) and evidence of successful college‑level teaching experience.
Preferred: Earned DMA degree or ABD status.
