Position Summary
The School of Music at the University of Alabama invites applications for a full-time, renewable contract instructor.

Responsibilities

Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Applied Percussion.

Supervise graduate students and adjunct assistants in the area.

Lead the University of Alabama Percussion Ensemble.

Teach an equivalent of 12 credit hours per semester (load may vary).

Minimum Qualifications

Master’s degree in music required (percussion performance preferred).

Evidence of successful college‑level teaching experience required.

Preferred Qualifications

Earned DMA degree or candidates in ABD status preferred.
