Role Purpose
The MPD Engineer will be responsible for supporting Managed Pressure Drilling operations, monitoring pressure control systems, optimising drilling performance, and ensuring safe operational execution throughout the drilling programme.
Key Responsibilities
Support onshore MPD operations in accordance with approved procedures
Monitor and optimise pressure management systems
Support drilling teams during HPHT operations
Analyse drilling performance and operational data
Ensure compliance with HSE and well control requirements
Provide technical support during drilling operations
Maintain accurate operational reporting and documentation

35/35 rotational assignment

Minimum Qualifications
Minimum 5 years experience as an MPD Engineer
Strong MPD operational and engineering background
Experience working on HPHT wells
Previous Weatherford MPD experience
Strong understanding of drilling and pressure management systems
Preferred / Advantageous Background
Experience supporting major operator drilling campaigns
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Experience working in technically demanding drilling environments
Ability to mobilise immediately
Certifications (Mandatory)
All relevant MPD certifications current and in date
