Order Management / Customer Operations Specialist
Location: Northvale, NJ (100% on-site) Salary: Up to $75,000
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly accountable Order Management / Customer Operations Specialist to take full ownership of the customer order lifecycle—from order intake through fulfillment. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and a high level of customer satisfaction while partnering closely with internal teams to drive operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Own the end-to-end customer order process, ensuring accuracy, prioritization, and on-time delivery
Manage inventory allocation proactively, identifying and addressing risks before they impact customers
Communicate clearly and effectively with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders regarding order status and issues
Investigate and resolve order discrepancies, shortages, and claims with a focus on root cause analysis
Continuously improve workflows, reporting, and data visibility across the order management process
Partner with Supply Chain, Operations, and Quality teams to enhance service levels and execution consistency

Advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables, XLOOKUPs, and data analysis/cleanup
Experience working with CRM and/or ERP systems with a focus on data accuracy
Solid understanding of operational processes, including inventory, lead times, and fulfillment
Clear and concise communication skills with the ability to simplify complex issues
Customer-focused approach with a commitment to reliability and professionalism
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field
2+ years of experience in customer account management, supply chain, or a manufacturing/distribution environment
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting
