About the Role:

We're looking for a Director, Field Force Effectiveness on the Commercial Effectiveness team to help us expand what's possible for patients with serious diseases. Reporting to the Senior Director, Field Strategy and Operations, you'll serve as a strategic partner in planning, coordination, and management of field team support. You'll act as the liaison between field-based teams and Global Program Teams, fostering a collaborative environment where strategic decisions are grounded in insights and objectives from all key stakeholders, while providing subject matter expertise in targeting, call planning, and field force size and structure.
What You'll Do:
In this role, you'll have the opportunity to shape and elevate the effectiveness of our field organization through data-driven strategy and cross-functional collaboration. You'll also:
Lead the development and evolution of field force size and structure recommendations, including ongoing geographical validation and strategic enhancements for leadership consideration
Provide subject matter expertise in targeting strategies and call planning to drive field performance and engagement
Partner with field reporting and analytics teams to proactively monitor business performance, identify issues and opportunities, and recommend data-driven solutions
Lead the creation of streamlined plans that integrate reporting and analytics into field initiatives to meet business objectives in partnership with field leadership
Develop and present resources that support effective decision-making and change management for leadership use during initiative rollouts
Provide context and guidance to field sales leaders on processes and decisions, building a support network for change management and a continuous feedback loop
Consult with cross-functional partners on the impact and usability of reports and resources intended for field sales use
Collaborate with field leaders to identify and fulfill communication needs, including field personnel guidance, policy changes, and operational actions
Complete needs assessments based on senior leadership requests, align subject matter experts, facilitate solution generation, and summarize actions and results
Work with the reporting and analytics team to develop standardized analysis and reporting templates for performance tracking, monitoring, and quarterly business reviews
Who You Are:

You have a Bachelor's Degree along with 8+ years of progressive pharmaceutical commercial experience (sales, leadership, marketing, or market access), or a combination of education, training, and experience.
You are or you also have:
Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and communication
Demonstrated strength in operations, project management, and execution
Proven ability to establish and cultivate relationships and collaborate effectively with key stakeholders across the organization
Ability to interface with Executive Leadership with confidence and subject matter expertise
Strong consultative skills with experience facilitating cross-functional collaboration
Experience generating and streamlining communication cadence aligned to organizational strategy
Ability to translate complex data and analytics into actionable insights for field leaders
Nice to have (but not required):
Experience in rare or specialty disease commercial environments
Familiarity with CRM platforms and field force automation tools
2+ years of experience managing a field team
Where You'll Work

This is a hybrid role based out of our Bridgewater, NJ office. You'll have the option to work remotely most of the time, with in-person collaboration when it matters most.
Travel Requirements

This role requires occasional domestic travel (approximately 10%15%).
